Happy New Year!

By Kate Perry November 15, 2021

Here is Macaroni Kid Oahu's picks for things to do on the island with this week of January 3, 2022.

1. Pearlridge Express Train Rides are still on! January 2 - January 10: Monday-Saturday  11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday   11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Santa's Helpers take a Cocoa Break from 2:00-3:00pm).

Keiki under 48 inches tall may ride on Hawaii’s only scale-model, fully-functioning locomotive daily through Monday, Jan. 10. A ride on the custom-built Pearlridge Express is an annual tradition for thousands of island families, some of whom fly in from the Neighbor Islands just for a day of shopping planned around this winter treat.

Each car will only hold riders from one household.

Tickets are $5 per child for the journey through a dreamy holiday toyland. For even greater value, 10-ticket Pearlridge Express ride booklets may be purchased for only $39. . Mauka Center Court.
